Salam. Sorry, I don't know of any activities in Kedah, but I am sure there must be some.
Well, it won't be long until you are at IMU, IA, then many activities will be within reach. In the meantime, enjoy try and spend as much time with your family as poss. Youtube is good, as is google video and so on for a whole range of subjects.
youtube offers so many things.. one thing dat im not comfortable with t is when does xrated videos appearsunexpectedly when were searching for certain videos. truly annoying hoho.
about the ferrreroche, o sir. its me who hav to thank you. :)
about the X rated stuff on you-tube. For a whole range of reasons I think it's deliberate.
I once read of Yahoo's involvement in adult "services" (they use that word to try and give it a clean image to Haram pornography) and it explains why all this horrible "Hello I'm ... from KL and I'm looking for a good time" stuff keeps popping up on YM.
The 'sex' industry seems immensely profitable and I wasn't surprised at stories of who was behind it.
I've noticed supposedly respectable websites like the BBC use quite a bit of sexually suggestive images. There is a saying 'sex sells' How true. An American Imam said something like 30% of marriages in the US fail because of pornography. I think marraige isn't really that popular over there anyway (just like the UK where I think >50% live as married couple but arn't actually married!). It is destructive to people who get pulled into it, causing social disintegration, and from what I've seen, that social disintegration is deliberate.
Sorry to be depressing, but that's like. Pn. Rita in Briefing ALUK6, ALG12 and ALM10 told them not to take 'shower pictures' of their friends and send/post them around and not to 'make out' in classrooms. Perhaps I was naive about young Malaysians (maybe the young are young no matter what country/culture/religion) but I didn't think most Malaysians followed western "culture" as strongly in pre-marrital relationships so I was quite shocked at when pn Rita said that stuff!
this industry is surely well planned by them. you know who.
Pn Rita said that? intec student really do those stuff? seems that good eduction it self is not enough. (ofcourse la)
its ok to be depress with this stuff. because im depressed too. n this shows that we care
yes, the young are the young no matter where. because they are people. n people are people no matter what.(but sumtimes people turn to animals) huhu. what makes sumone diff from another one is the way they act and control themselve. how far they hold on the prinsip of life, and the limitations.
young malaysian are, beggining to make west as their qiblat. not only theyre brave enough to post shower pictures but even terrible than that.theres so many examples. im not comfartable talking about it. making me sick.
back then i was worried about what will malaysia be in the future. but, as i enter intec, i meet new friends with great minds. mature, knowladgable. they know what they have to do, and they know what they cudnt do. despite that there are youth that is turning into "trash", theres still youth that have clear vision and its makes me smile back again.
intec students are among the potential ones.do take care of my juniors sir. u can play a huge role. :)
(hurmm.. my english is becoming worse from day to day T_T)
"young malaysian are, beggining to make west as their qiblat." - Nicely put and so very true. Shameful isn't it.
I think pn Rita said that because there may have been one case (I didn't ask 'cos I don't really want to know), so perhaps some perspective is needed.
As the youth venture down the pathways of experiences and life, some pathways are more likely to instill a certain more corrupt sence of morality and spirituality than others. Alhamdulillah the pathway of the ALM pogram was what I consider to be a good pathway.
As for Malaysia's future, well I think the "wicked witch of the West" (to borrow a phrase) is collapsng in on itself and what can be called Western 'development/progress' will cease. I don't think Msia will follow, so Msia will be OK, but I needs people who don't idolise the west (and it's ways) in the driving seat - like you I suppose insyaAllah. OK. Must go.
Insya allah... :)
InsyaAllah!
